-We use CAD-CAM (Computer Aided Design, or 3D Computer Imaging) technology to make a computer rendering of your custom ring. When your 3D design is done, our customs team will either email it to you or bring you into our store so you can take a look. You’ll review it and make sure everything looks good. With this technology, we’re able to create a mock up of what your ring will look like from every angle. You’ll be able to see all the small details and unique customizations up close before it’s even made! Once you’ve made any revisions, we’ll confirm it with you before moving on to the next step.
After you’ve approved your 3D Design, we send it to our 3D printer to make a model in wax of what it will look like when it’s finished. The wax model can be sent to our store for review if desired. That way you’ll be able to see a physical version of the ring to review for size and details if you still have questions about the digital version.That’s when you can request final changes or approve for casting!
Our custom teams use the highest quality materials and processes to ensure you get exactly what you’re hoping for. We’re very good about working with timeline and budget but you should expect between 4-5 weeks on most custom rings. The custom team will cast your ring in the gold of your choice, set any small side diamonds or gemstones, and apply all the finishing touches you would expect for fine jewelry.
The final step is with our master goldsmith to check all the work so far, set the center stone and clean/polish your ring one last time. Once approved by our goldsmith, a ring specialist will look over it one last time to make sure everything is tight and the sizing is correct. Then we’ll package it up so it’s ready for you!

If timing is a concern, your ring specialist will see what can be done to get it to you sooner! We can often rush a ring for a fee. Even then you’ll want to give yourself a minimum of 3 weeks for delivery.
